Earth Child Project (founded 2007) is a Non-Profit Organization operating in disadvantaged schools in Cape Town, South Africa. Working with ~ 4500 children and ~ 150 teachers, their educational programs focus on practical skills such as yoga, mindfulness & environmental awareness.

• €16 (R250) pays for yoga for 1x child for a full year.
• This is less than a single yoga class drop-in in Germany/Switzerland.

School Gardens:

• With the support of Urban Harvest & EarthChild e.V., EarthChild Project has planted and maintained a number of vegetable gardens at schools in Cape Town. These gardens supplement the meals of the school children, as well as providing an oasis of green calm in their lives

EarthChild e.V. Germany was founded in 2022 to support fundraising for EarthChild Project.

Meet Devado, a brave 12-year-old boy from Lavender Hill (click Link for IG Post), where growing up often means facing gangsterism, drugs, and violence far too young.

But when he found yoga through Earthchild Project, something shifted.
